About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store product data at assigned local retailers each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations throughout each store, including end caps. They are also asked to provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates report to assigned stores within required deadlines and complete weekly display scans, which can take several hours per store. Clients also request Custom Projects, which occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. The listed route includes convenience stores in Cincinnati and Amelia, Ohio, with available workdays Sunday through Thursday. Base hours average 1–2 hours bi-weekly across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours, while requiring dependable, deadline-driven work and continuous physical activity during shifts.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.
