About The Position

This permanent part-time role involves visiting assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected information is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan products and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The route includes grocery stores in Sellersburg and Jeffersonville, Indiana, with work available Wednesday or Thursday. Associates complete weekly display scanning across the entire store, which can take several hours. Custom Projects requesting additional product details occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Work must be completed by weekly deadlines, and assignments continue throughout the year, including holiday weeks.

Base hours average 6–7 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The position offers workplace independence and some flexibility, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday.

The role is subject to AI-assisted screening. The position is expected to remain open for approximately 30 days and may close earlier if sufficient qualified candidates are identified.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
