Scanscape•Winchester, IN
•$15 - $16•Onsite

About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The position covers assigned stores every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates complete display scanning throughout the entire store, which can take several hours, and may also perform custom projects requested by clients. Custom projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly reporting deadlines and provide dependable, accurate work. This permanent part-time role averages 9–11 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. The route includes a mass retail store in Winchester, Indiana; a grocery store in Albany, Indiana; and a grocery store in New Castle, Indiana. Available workdays vary by store: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday for Winchester and Albany, and Wednesday or Thursday for New Castle. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours, balanced with client requirements and weekly deadlines. The work involves continuous physical activity during shifts.
