About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed and used to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile phone app to scan products and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

This is a permanent part-time role with base hours averaging 3–6 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special projects are frequently assigned, typically adding 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Associates perform weekly in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, and must meet deadlines. Work offers independence and some flexibility in scheduling, with continuous physical activity during the shift. The listed route is for grocery stores in Richmond, Indiana, with work available Wednesday or Thursday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retail stores each week within the specified deadline.
