About The Position

The Retail Scan Associate performs weekly in-store data collection at assigned local retailers throughout the year, including holiday weeks. The associate uses a downloadable mobile app to scan product barcodes in many areas of each store and records quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The work includes scanning displays throughout the entire store each week, which can take several hours, as well as Custom Projects that clients request for more detailed product information in primary stocking locations. These projects occur almost every week and may add 1–2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data while working independently. The position involves continuous physical activity throughout the workday.

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 6–9 base hours per week across stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned, with higher demand from January through June. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The route includes grocery stores in Webster Groves and Saint Louis, Missouri, with available workdays varying by store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
