About The Position

The Retail Scan Associate visits assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and throughout store aisles, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role averages 2–3 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project work is frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Display scanning is performed weekly and can take several hours per store; custom projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. The position involves continuous physical activity during the work shift and visits to stores every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
