About The Position

The Retail Scan Associate performs weekly in-store data collection at assigned local retailers for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit designated stores and use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations throughout the store, including aisle end caps. They provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The role includes weekly display scanning of the entire store, which can take several hours, as well as Custom Projects that clients request for additional product details in main stocking locations. Custom Projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must report to stores within specified deadlines and deliver dependable, accurate work. The position offers workplace independence and some flexibility in scheduling, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
