About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan products and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly Display Scanning throughout the store and may also perform Custom Projects, which provide more detailed product information in main stocking locations. Custom Projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and perform the work independently with attention to detail.

This permanent part-time position averages 3–6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional project hours are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Work is scheduled at designated stores in Hereford, Texas, on specified available days. The role involves continuous physical activity and store visits every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum auto insurance coverage required by the state.
• Must be able to remain on their feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
