About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data, including quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The role involves weekly in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates must meet store deadlines and complete display scanning throughout the store, which can take several hours. Custom Projects requesting additional product details occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Base hours average 2–4 hours per week across all stores, with additional special-project hours frequently assigned; demand is higher from January through June. Additional scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The position offers independence and some flexibility in working hours, while requiring continuous physical activity during work shifts. The listed route includes stores in Andrews, Seminole, and Seagraves, Texas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
