About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated local stores each week to collect in-store product data. Using a downloadable app on a mobile phone, associates scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations throughout the store, including end caps. They also report quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 7–14 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Custom Projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet weekly store deadlines and work across 52 weeks of the year, including holiday weeks. The role involves continuous physical activity and provides workplace independence and some flexibility in scheduling.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
