Retail Scan Associate (Katy TX 77450)

Circana•Katy, TX
•$15 - $16•Onsite

About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to collect in-store product data. Associates scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps, using a downloadable app on a mobile phone. For about 45% of scanned products, associates also provide quantity information. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates complete display scanning throughout each assigned store every week. Clients may also request Custom Projects involving more detailed information about products in main stocking locations; these occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and perform this work reliably and accurately. The route includes grocery, drug, and convenience stores in the Katy, Texas area, with available workdays varying by store. This is a permanent part-time role. Base hours average 3–7 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. The role offers independence and some flexibility in scheduling, while requiring continuous physical activity during the work shift. Associates work 52 weeks per year, including holiday weeks.
