About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile phone app and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role involves weekly in-store data collection at assigned local retailers throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates complete display scanning across the entire store every week; the work can take several hours. Clients also request Custom Projects, which occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. The role is permanent and part-time, averaging 5–11 base hours per week across all stores, with additional hours frequently assigned for special projects. Higher demand is expected from January through June. There is continuous physical activity throughout the workday, and some flexibility in working hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
