About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data that is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates also report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. This permanent part-time position averages 2–4 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Weekly display scanning takes several hours, and custom projects may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store in a given week. Associates must complete work by weekly deadlines and visit the assigned store within the specified deadline. The route is a grocery store in Decorah, Iowa, with available workdays on Monday and Tuesday. Work occurs year-round for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
Be tech savvy.
