Seasonal Retail Sales - Holiday Gift Shop - Towson Town Center
About The Position
The Retail Sales role is a seasonal position in Nordstrom’s Holiday Gift Shop at Towson Town Center. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion and styling and can cultivate and grow a customer following both digitally and in-store. The position focuses on achieving sales goals, building customer relationships, offering personalized service and style guidance, and developing product expertise. The work schedule varies by week based on business needs. The role may occasionally require performing duties in a department other than the one hired into. Physical requirements include continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use, as well as handling merchandise and lifting items above the head. Employees regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
- Build lasting customer relationships.
- Provide customer service on customers’ terms.
- Give customers honest and confident feedback about style and fit.
- Develop fashion and product knowledge.
- Keep the department customer ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, marking down prices, and performing light cleaning.
- Grow customer relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
- Work a schedule that varies by week according to business needs.
- Be flexible to occasionally perform duties in a department other than the one hired into.
