About The Position
RedLion Wireless is hiring an in-person Retail Sales Representative for its Brooklyn–Fulton retail location. The representative works in a retail store helping residential customers connect to Optimum Communications services, including fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, voice, cable, and related support services. The role involves proactive sales, understanding customer needs, recommending service packages, and delivering a positive, solution-focused customer experience. Employees may need to support nearby stores within a 35-mile radius and must have reliable transportation. The position is full-time, with approximately 40 expected hours per week. Pay is $20 per hour plus monthly commission; stated total annual compensation is $45,000–$75,000 based on hourly pay and commission performance.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail, wireless, mobile, cable, telecommunications, or sales experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Reliable transportation for possible work at nearby store locations.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers proactively and present telecommunications products and services.
- Sell mobile, Internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or service packages.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
- Clearly explain products, services, pricing, and promotions to customers.
- Provide a positive, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
- Build customer relationships and encourage long-term brand loyalty.
- Maintain customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
- Work scheduled shifts reliably and punctually, collaborating with team members.
- Support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed.
