About The Position

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You help ensure a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter-free. Team members may work in different areas of the store to maintain sales-floor and stockroom cleanliness and help customers find merchandise. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment; applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Customer Service team members help keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening; assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions; support fitting rooms; sort and return clothing to the floor; organize stockrooms; check in and ticket merchandise; use store technologies; follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards; and promote Nordstrom Rewards. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments, fulfill and ship customer orders to quality standards, use inventory management systems to process and research shipments, maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provide general store support such as preparing special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role involves continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and use of hands. Employees handle bulky or awkward merchandise and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Stock and Fulfillment roles frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The listed hourly pay range is $20.15–$20.95; offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment.
Keep the store clean and clutter-free, including sales floors and stockrooms.
Keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising, filling in, and straightening merchandise.
Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions, including cashiering and point-of-sale operation.
Support fitting-room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Organize stockrooms and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in store technologies and follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders and prepare and ship orders according to quality standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures.
