About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead a dynamic sales team, drive revenue, and create excellent customer experiences in a music-focused retail environment. The manager sets an upbeat, customer-focused tone, uses their passion for music to support the team and customers, and leads efforts to meet and exceed sales targets.

The role includes training and developing employees, recruiting a high-performing sales team, and maintaining a customer-first culture. The manager also oversees store operations, including inventory, labor, and scheduling. Pay is $19.64–$24.55 per hour depending on background and experience. The position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.

Requirements

• Passion for music and experience as a musician.
• Experience leading a sales team and ability to inspire others.
• Understanding of P&L statements and labor management.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organization, attention to detail, and meticulousness.

Responsibilities
