About The Position

Guitar Center is hiring a Retail Sales Manager to lead a sales team, drive revenue, and create positive customer experiences in a vibrant, music-focused retail environment. The manager sets an upbeat, customer-focused tone, inspires the team to meet and exceed sales goals, and helps customers find products suited to their needs. The role also supports store operations through inventory, labor, and schedule management. The listed pay rate is $18.13–$21.75 per hour, depending on background and experience. The position is eligible for participation in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance. Guitar Center offers a creative environment and, for employee musicians, gig leave to take time off to perform and return to work afterward.

Requirements

• Passion for music and knowledge of the art and craft of music.
• Experience leading a sales team and the ability to inspire others.
• Understanding of business metrics, including P&L statements and labor management.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organization, attention to detail, and meticulousness.

Responsibilities
