About The Position
Guitar Center is hiring a Retail Sales Manager to lead a sales team, drive revenue, and create positive customer experiences in a vibrant, fast-paced retail environment. The role calls for a passionate musician and sales leader who can inspire a customer-focused culture, guide the team toward sales goals, and help customers find the right products. The manager leads by example, delivers sales and product-knowledge training, recruits and develops a high-performing team, and oversees inventory, labor, and scheduling. The position is paid $23.00–$26.00 per hour depending on background and experience, and is eligible for participation in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on company performance.
Requirements
- Passion for music and an understanding of the art and craft of music.
- Experience leading a sales team and the ability to inspire others.
- Understanding of business metrics, including profit and loss statements and labor management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organization and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
