About The Position

The Retail Sales Lead assists store management in achieving sales targets and supporting long-term business growth through premium customer service and the maintenance of store standards. The role builds strong customer connections, develops product expertise, supports merchandising and product flow, and helps ensure the store operates effectively. The Sales Lead may assume the Store Manager’s responsibilities during the manager’s absence and supports other store functions as business requires.

Requirements

• High school or secondary school diploma, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to understand direction and communicate in English.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and management staff.
• Courteous and helpful attitude.
• Ability to manage personal time and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, lift 10 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Use customer service training principles and build deep connections with customers.
• Understand expectations and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Ensure 100% zone coverage.
• Develop a high level of product expertise.
• Understand and demonstrate retail standards, including attendance, conduct standards, and Matter of Respect.
• Complete daily restocking and maintain merchandising standards.
• Support store functions including front of house, back of house, shipping and receiving, opening and closing, and customization, as business requires.
• Assume the Store Manager’s responsibilities during the manager’s absence.
• Partner with the Store Manager and internal and external partners to plan upcoming shipments, develop strategies, and identify business opportunities.
• Plan and execute product flow, including markdowns, transitions, and refills.
• Perform store opening and closing responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
