About The Position

The Retail Sales Lead assists store management in achieving sales targets and supporting long-term business growth through premium customer service and the maintenance of store standards. The role builds customer connections, develops product expertise, maintains merchandise and replenishment standards, and supports the full range of retail operations. The lead also assumes the Store Manager’s responsibilities during the manager’s absence and partners with the Store Manager and other partners to plan shipments, identify business opportunities, and execute product flow.

Requirements

• High school or secondary school diploma, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to understand direction and communicate in English.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and management staff.
• Courteous and helpful attitude.
• Ability to manage personal time and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, lift 10 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Use customer service training principles and build strong connections with customers.
• Understand sales expectations and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Ensure complete zone coverage.
• Develop and demonstrate strong product expertise.
• Follow retail standards, including attendance and conduct standards.
• Complete daily restocking and maintain merchandising standards.
• Support store operations as needed, including front of house, back of house, shipping and receiving, opening and closing, and customization.
• Assume the Store Manager’s responsibilities during the manager’s absence.
• Partner with the Store Manager and internal and external partners to plan upcoming shipments, develop strategies, and identify business opportunities.
• Plan and execute product flow, including markdowns, transitions, and refills.
• Perform store opening and closing responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
