About The Position
Working in Hurley Retail is described as rewarding and challenging. The Retail Sales Associate represents the Hurley brand and helps deliver a rewarding customer experience. The role assists store management in achieving sales targets and supporting long-term business growth through premium customer service and maintaining store standards. This is a short-term, part-time position in Ellenton.
Requirements
- High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of work experience.
- Ability to understand direction and communicate in English.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management staff.
- Courteous and helpful attitude.
- Ability to manage personal time and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods.
- At least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Use customer service training principles.
- Build strong connections with customers using training principles.
- Understand expectations and achieve targeted sales goals.
- Ensure full zone coverage.
- Develop a high level of product expertise.
- Understand and demonstrate retail standards, including attendance, conduct standards, and Matter of Respect.
- Complete daily restocking.
- Maintain merchandising standards.
- Support other retail functions as business requires, including front of house, back of house, shipping and receiving, store opening and closing, and customization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
