About The Position
The Retail Sales Lead assists store management in achieving sales targets and long-term business growth by providing premium customer service and maintaining store standards. The role includes supporting daily store operations and assuming the Store Manager’s responsibilities when the manager is absent. It also partners with the Store Manager and other internal and external partners to plan shipments, develop strategies, identify business opportunities, and execute product flow.
Requirements
- High school or secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Ability to understand direction and communicate in English.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and management staff.
- Courteous and helpful attitude.
- Ability to manage personal time and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, lift 10 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
- At least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Apply customer service training principles and build strong connections with customers.
- Understand sales expectations and achieve targeted sales goals.
- Ensure complete zone coverage.
- Develop and demonstrate strong product expertise.
- Follow retail standards for attendance, conduct, and respect.
- Complete daily restocking.
- Maintain merchandising standards.
- Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations, shipping and receiving, store opening and closing, and customization as business requires.
- Assume the Store Manager’s responsibilities in the manager’s absence.
- Partner with the Store Manager and internal and external partners to plan upcoming shipments, develop strategies, and identify key business opportunities.
- Plan and execute product flow, including markdowns, transitions, and refills.
- Perform store opening and closing responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
