About The Position

The Retail Sales Lead supports daily store operations and creates exceptional customer experiences at POP MART. The role leads by example on the sales floor, coaches and motivates Sales Associates, supports sales performance, and helps maintain a premium and engaging store environment. When the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, the Sales Lead serves as Leader on Duty and directs the team. The position includes sales and business performance support, opening and closing procedures, POS transactions, shipment processing, replenishment, inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and visual merchandising. The Sales Lead also supports launches, in-store events, collector experiences, Robo Shop operations where applicable, and other brand initiatives. The role reports directly to the Store Manager and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak business periods.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail experience.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading by example.
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate others and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Ability to interpret business metrics and use data to improve store performance.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
Basic computer and point-of-sale proficiency.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience and foster a customer-first culture.
Serve as Leader on Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable and support smooth daily operations.
Coach, motivate, and support Sales Associates in achieving individual and store performance goals.
Share information about POP MART artists, characters, products, Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, and collaborations with customers.
Help achieve store sales goals and KPIs, including sales, conversion, units per transaction, average transaction value, and customer engagement.
Promote key product categories, limited-edition releases, and exclusive collections through product recommendations.
Identify store performance opportunities and communicate operational needs and business opportunities to store leadership.
Execute opening and closing procedures and follow company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and visually compelling store.
Process customer transactions, returns, exchanges, and other POS activities accurately.
Support shipment processing, replenishment, stockroom organization, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts.
Follow cash handling, safety, and loss prevention procedures to protect company assets.
Execute visual merchandising standards, marketing directives, and promotional displays.
Install fixtures, marketing materials, decals, and planograms for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
Refresh merchandising based on inventory levels, sell-through, and business priorities.
Support inventory audits, receiving, transfers, replenishment, and back-of-house organization.
Partner with store leadership to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability.
Stay current on POP MART products, artists, characters, and company initiatives as a brand ambassador.
Support in-store events, collector experiences, pop-up activations, conventions, new store openings, and other brand initiatives.
Support Robo Shop operations and partner with internal teams where applicable.
Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak business periods.
