About The Position

Squishable is hiring a seasonal Retail Sales Lead to support the Store Manager and store leadership team at Cherry Hill Mall during the busy holiday season. The role helps drive sales, develop team members, and create a fun, welcoming, and efficient experience for customers. The ideal candidate is passionate, organized, adaptable, confident, and comfortable interacting with people while staying calm and focused in a fast-paced store environment.

The seasonal position runs from November 2026 through early January 2027. Team members must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail, customer service, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Passion for people and creating a fun, welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to stay positive and flexible during busy periods.
• Ability to work as part of a team, motivate others, take initiative, and assist wherever needed.
• Comfort with receiving and providing feedback and helping the team stay focused on shared goals.
• Flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in providing a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience during the holiday season.
• Help lead the sales floor during peak periods and keep the team focused on customer service and sales goals.
• Drive holiday sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and knowledge of Squishable products.
• Support seasonal promotions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked sales floor.
• Help manage customer flow and resolve concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to team members and assist wherever needed during busy periods.
• Support opening, closing, and keyholder responsibilities as assigned.
