About The Position

The Sales Lead is a high-performing member of the store team who reports to a Store Manager and helps achieve sales and service goals. This customer-centered role involves leading and motivating sales associates, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The Sales Lead may also be assigned as a Key Holder and assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliations. This position is open to internal candidates only; external applicants will not be considered.

Requirements

• At least one year of related retail experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team toward sales goals.
• Proficiency operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technology.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive and proactive approach to management and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to demonstrate company standards and reinforce them with the team.
• Capacity to multitask to meet simultaneous demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns, providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment.
• Monitor inventory and assist with replenishment and merchandising as needed.
• Train and coach associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales strategies that support business growth.
• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• If assigned to the Key Holder role, assist with opening and closing, cash handling, and reconciliations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
