Seasonal Retail Sales Floor Support - Sarasota Pavilion Rack
About The Position
As a seasonal Nordstrom Rack team member, you will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You will help provide a quick and easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter-free. The role may involve working in different areas of the store to maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness and help customers find merchandise. Responsibilities may include keeping the sales floor stocked, sized, and runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening; assisting customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms; supporting fitting room operations; returning merchandise to the sales floor; organizing stockrooms; checking in and ticketing merchandise accurately; using store technologies; following operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards; and promoting Nordstrom Rewards. The role involves continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching, and regularly lifting items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Pay is $16.00–$16.65 per hour, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready, sized, and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
- Assist customers with cashiering and transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, including operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, handling bulky items, and providing a friendly experience.
- Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
- Sort and return clothing to the sales floor to maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience.
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
- Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
- Follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
- Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
