Retail Sales - Cashier
About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a friendly, dependable, positive team player who enjoys greeting and assisting people. Cashiers handle cash register and customer service duties and help maintain the store’s appearance by rotating stock, tidying, and keeping the store looking its best. The position may include cross-training in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations, as well as hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production-style setting. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period. The pay rate is $15.00.
Requirements
- Be a team player, positive, dependable, and respectful, including when dealing with challenging customers.
- Be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production or similar experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and provide customer service.
