About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a friendly, dependable team player who enjoys meeting and greeting people and can remain respectful when serving challenging customers. Cashiers support customer service and store operations, helping keep the store neat and presentable. The role may include cross-training in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations, as well as hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production-style setting. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period.

Requirements

• Be a team player, positive, dependable, and respectful when dealing with challenging customers.
• Be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and provide customer service.
• Rotate stock, tidy the store, and continually maintain its appearance.
• May receive, price, and stock donations as part of cross-training.
• May hang, inspect, and tag textiles and clothing in a production-style setting.
