Retail Sales - Cashier
About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a cashier who enjoys greeting and helping customers and has a warm, friendly personality. Successful candidates are team players who are positive, dependable, and respectful when interacting with customers, including challenging customers. The role includes operating the cash register and providing customer service, as well as maintaining store appearance by rotating stock, tidying, and keeping the store looking its best. The position may include cross-training in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations, or in hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production-style setting. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period. Pay is $15.00.
Requirements
- Be a team player, positive, dependable, and respectful, including when dealing with challenging customers.
- Be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production or similar experience preferred.
