About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to provide WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role contributes to sales and store performance while supporting inventory management, store operations, product knowledge, and a positive retail environment. Associates use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies; and help maintain smooth store operations and proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using required personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed; work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
