Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide WOW! Customer Service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain well-stocked inventory, and support store operations. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, sharing automotive product advice, recommending relevant products and promotions, and contributing to sales and store performance. The role also involves restocking and organizing merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, observing safety policies, learning about automotive products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. AutoZone describes a customer-first culture that values dedication, teamwork, and growth, with tools and support to help employees succeed. This is a part-time position. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and available for a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
