Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, contributing to sales goals, and helping maintain a knowledgeable and positive retail environment. The role includes using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, staying current on automotive products and promotions, and following store processes and safety policies. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
