About The Position

UNIQLO is hiring Retail Sales Associates for the grand opening of its newest Williamsburg location. Associates help customers, meet sales goals, maintain brand and operational standards, and support store operations. The role is offered as a full-time or part-time hourly position, starting at $18.00 per hour. The company describes a path to promotion opportunities every three months based on individual performance, with advancement opportunities for team members who consistently deliver strong results.

Full-time associates are expected to maintain open availability at least five days per week, averaging 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality, with no more than two days off in the same Monday–Sunday workweek. Scheduling restrictions may apply on no more than three days per week, with only one restriction permitted Friday through Sunday and at least one restriction being time-based. Part-time associates must have at least 12 hours of availability per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods, read computer terminals, and push, pull, or move objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain brand and operational standards, including visual presentation and cleanliness.
• Manage customer needs and exceed expectations by following the UNIQLO service standard and Fundamental Principles, including saying the six standard phrases.
• Know fitting room standards and assist when needed.
• Act as cashier when required, following cashier protocol.
• Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor in a full size run.
• Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues.
• Provide customers with product and brand knowledge.
• Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
