About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its Hwy 31W location. The role serves clients in a high-energy salon, providing friendly customer service and recommendations for products and services while helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Associates work with teammates in a fast-paced setting and may work independently during shifts as business needs require. Base pay is $13.00 per hour or more, with performance bonuses; the stated average earnings of $16.00 per hour are not guaranteed and reflect team members meeting performance and training criteria.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and engage with clients to understand and meet their needs.
Ability to recommend products and services and meet minimum sales requirements.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment and follow company policies and procedures.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from the floor.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and make recommendations for products and services.
Meet the minimum sales requirements.
Use basic computer skills and knowledge.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging with new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
