Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role includes assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, supporting sales and store performance, maintaining inventory and store operations, and helping create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay current on products and promotions and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
