About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support store operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers, recommending products, supporting sales goals, and helping maintain a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. You will work with managers and teammates and can build a career in the automotive retail industry.

The role includes assisting customers with automotive questions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about products and promotions through AutoZone systems, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and have flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise and maintain store organization.
• Follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
