About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams deliver customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory and store organization, and contribute to a positive retail environment. The role includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Flexible schedule availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment; support teammates and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, support proper financial management, and keep store operations running smoothly.
Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
