About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers select automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, support sales, and keep store operations running. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help deliver WOW! Customer Service, offer automotive advice, recommend products and promotions, and contribute to a positive and knowledgeable retail environment. The role also includes maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about automotive parts and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated and productive store environment, support colleagues, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
