About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates engage with customers, offer automotive advice, assist with product selection, and contribute to sales and store performance. They also help maintain inventory, follow store procedures and safety policies, and support daily store operations. The role includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommending solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following established processes and company safety policies; use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
