About The Position

AAA Club Alliance is hiring an experienced, full-time Retail Sales Associate to provide in-store sales and customer service. The role focuses on selling AAA products and assisting members with travel planning, while also supporting roadside assistance calls and other store services as needed. The position is based at 6580 N Main St., Suite A, Dayton, OH 45415. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work week is 37.5 hours, with no Sundays. Starting base compensation is $15.54 to $19.88 per hour, adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors. The position is also eligible for incentive pay, with an average payout of $162 to $389 per month.

Requirements

• Previous sales and customer service experience, with the ability to drive results and exceed expectations.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate multiple websites and programs and multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain it within six months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state- and/or vendor-specific screenings.
• Ability to obtain any necessary membership license or other license required to perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Consistently upsell and cross-sell AAA products, including new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members in planning domestic travel, including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and TripTiks.
• Answer incoming overflow Roadside Assistance calls during peak call volumes and provide timely, efficient service.
• Provide backup support for Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services, if applicable.
