About The Position
Pet Food Express is seeking a sales-driven Retail Sales Associate to help pet parents find products and solutions for their pets. Sales Consultants proactively engage customers, ask questions to understand their needs, and use the Pet Food Express Whole Life Approach to provide tailored recommendations and trusted advice. They also educate customers about products, promotions, and pet-related topics to create a friendly, informative shopping experience. The role includes operating the cash register, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store. Associates participate in daily training and ongoing educational programs, show reliable attendance and punctuality, and support other store operations as assigned. The work involves significant physical activity, including lifting and carrying merchandise and cleaning as needed. The expected pay range is $18.60–$19.10 per hour. Starting pay depends on factors including local market rates, candidate qualifications, skills and experience, internal compensation practices, and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

- Operate the cash register efficiently and provide a friendly checkout experience.
- Unload shipments and stock the store.
- Clean and maintain the store, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning pet messes as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.
