About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague in the women’s shoes department, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create personalized shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, recommend products and services, build trust, meet sales goals, and encourage customer loyalty. You also help keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they engage customers in friendly conversations, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, help customers complete their purchases, and provide a sincere farewell. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. Schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Macy’s describes the environment as dynamic and inclusive and offers competitive pay and benefits.
