As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, make personalized recommendations, connect them with suitable products and services, and use product knowledge and a personal approach to build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire customer loyalty. The role is focused on selling and customer service, not just cashiering, and also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they engage customers in friendly conversations, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, help customers with their purchases, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. The role emphasizes teamwork, dependable attendance, adaptability, and continuous improvement. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. Schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Candidates must be available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position requires frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, as well as standing, lifting, moving, reaching, and other physical activities.
