About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague in the women’s shoes department, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and effective selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and encourage customer loyalty. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space.

Requirements

Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
Resourcefulness, eagerness to start a new venture, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.

Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Work toward daily sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and explaining loyalty program benefits.
Learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, current trends, and promotions.
Maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms by recovering merchandise, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
Complete customer interactions with a sincere thank-you and ensure customers have what they need.
Collaborate with colleagues and support one another in serving customers and the community.
Use handheld equipment, computers, and cash registers to perform job functions and process transactions.
