About The Position

This is a full-time retail sales and customer service position in Tiffin and Findlay focused on wine, coffee, cooking, and gourmet food. The role is described as sharing knowledge and teaching customers rather than simply selling products. The employer will train the associate to become an expert in their store section and offers the opportunity to learn, take on responsibility, and advance. The position is with a family-run company and involves contributing to a welcoming, upbeat store environment. Work is performed on the sales floor and can be physical, including moving cases of wine and climbing ladders.

Requirements

Have a valid U.S. driver's license and a clean driving record.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have internet and computer skills.
Have technical aptitude and a strong desire to learn.
Have a passion for wine, coffee, cooking, and gourmet food, and a desire to share that passion with others.
Have customer service and people skills.
Be able to work from 8:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.; Saturdays are required.
Be able to lift 25 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

Share enthusiasm and knowledge about wine, coffee, cooking, and gourmet food with customers.
Provide customer service and help create a welcoming store environment.
Learn product knowledge and become an expert in the assigned store section.
Take on responsibility and contribute to the team.
Move cases of wine and perform other physical sales-floor tasks.
