About The Position

Wild Bill’s Tobacco is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to provide customer service and support store operations. The role includes helping customers identify products that meet their needs, building customer relationships, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store. Associates may travel within a 15-mile radius of their home store to cover shifts and may work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in retail environments and customer service.
• Professional, energetic, and positive attitude.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Flexible scheduling availability.
• Able to work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.
• Able to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, including greeting customers, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
• Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Build relationships with customers and suggest products.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Gain product knowledge to serve as a product expert.
• Participate in marketing efforts to solicit new business and promote the brand inside and outside the store.
• Assist with retail store functions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the store clean and well stocked.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Travel within a 15-mile radius of the home store for shift coverage.
• Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Complete paperwork and transactions accurately according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area.
• Make customers’ experience comfortable and simple while meeting their needs.
• Assist with other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.
• Open and close the store, including locking doors and setting the alarm.
