Macy's•St. Louis, MO

About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn about each customer’s needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Through warmth, product knowledge, customer engagement, and smart selling behaviors, you build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire customer loyalty. The role is focused on selling and customer experience, rather than being solely a cashier position. You help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. You prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling items, and staying current on trends and promotions. During the day, you build customer relationships, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty-program benefits, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver individual and store results. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. Schedules include weekend shifts; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
