Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, West County Center
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You help keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and keeping the sales floor customer-ready. You provide friendly service and support your team in achieving sales goals. The position is seasonal and based at West County Center. Colleagues prepare the sales floor for customers, review goals and information about new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with a warm welcome and personal conversations. They recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver customer service and store results. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 12–24 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable using electronic devices.
- Meet physical requirements including talking, lifting, frequent movement, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
