About The Position

Elements Massage is seeking an engaging, outgoing Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Associate to lead retail sales and customer service for prospective and current clients at a wellness studio. The role focuses on creating an exceptional massage experience, explaining and selling the Elements Wellness Program membership, and providing welcoming, attentive hospitality. Team members earn commissions on wellness plan and gift card sales and may qualify for additional performance-based bonuses.

Requirements

• Ability to follow a sales process to sell the monthly Elements Wellness Program and build customer loyalty.
• Enjoy talking with clients and, especially, listening to new, established, and prospective clients.
• Ability to turn client criticism into an opportunity to provide excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with modern office tools and systems; scheduling and payments are processed using easy-to-learn computer programs.
• Motivation to create a positive work environment for employees and excellent experiences for clients.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably selling memberships or services in person to prospective clients.
• Customer service experience in a spa-like or similar environment, with attention to hospitality and execution.

Responsibilities

• Inform clients about the benefits of the Elements Wellness Program membership.
• Follow the established sales process to enroll clients in the Elements Wellness Program.
• Provide a welcoming first and final point of contact, both by phone and in the studio.
• Ensure appointment paperwork and payment are handled briefly, accurately, and smoothly.
• Collaborate with managers and massage therapists to create a client-centered environment.
• Keep the studio clean and inviting.

Benefits

• Base wage of $14.35–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Bonuses based on monthly conversion and sales numbers.
• Bonuses and commissions paid biweekly on sales, conversions, and goals.
